The neighborhood
The Caixa-Forum Studio is located in a prime location in central Madrid, “El Barrio de las Letras”. A few steps from the Caixa-Forum, the newest and one of the most interesting cultural areas of the city that is in addition to the extraordinary range of the capital, especially rich in this area. In this environment and within a radius of 600 meters you can find the Reina Sofia Museum, the Prado Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in the "Gold Triangle", in addition to the Royal Botanical Gardens. The studio, as we told, is located in the “Barrio de las Letras”, also known for its art galleries (http://www.artemadrid.com/), upscale restaurants, tapas bars and great nightlife scene along the Huertas Street and adjacent streets.
The Studio
The Caixa-Forum Studio is on the third floor of an ancient building recently restored, typical of Madrid “de los Austrias”. Therefore, the study has wooden floors and the old beams have been preserved in rehabilitation. Your window to the street offers views of the surrounding tile roofs. It has two spaces, one living-room where there is a double bed with wardrobe, desk and TV and another one with the built-in kitchen and a dining table. There is also a bathroom with shower.
